An educationist by profession, Irum has been working in the learning and enrichment sector for over a decade and a half. As a Cambridge certified educator, she began her teaching career in Singapore and has since worked internationally giving her the opportunity to gain experience and acquire knowledge of best practices in the field of education, in the public and private sector.

With a passion for social impact and entrepreneurship, Irum co-founded a learning center, MetaMindz, in Dubai in 2012 which was a pioneer in blended learning in the Middle East.  She has been passionate about empowering parents and educators with programs, strategies and cutting-edge solutions to help children with their learning and intervention needs. Irum specializes in personalized, blended learning using technology and digital innovations.

During her time as the co-founder of MetaMindz Learning Center, Irum worked with Dubai Government to offer Summer Camps at public libraries. MetaMindz also became the first exclusive academic enrichment provider at GEMS Schools, Dubai.

Owing to her extensive experience in the supplementary education industry and a keen interest to introduce educational innovations and advancements to the education fraternity, Irum was awarded exclusive representation rights by Curriculum Associates USA for Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Pakistan and Nigeria in 2018. Irum founded EduEnhance in 2019 with the vision to offer equity and equality in education across geographies. From EdTech tools, to professional development to international accreditation, EduEnhance carefully considers the needs and requirements of schools in the regions and serves to bring them a complete ecosystem of solutions.

Irum has also served as a member on the Board of Directors at Sheikh Rashid School Dubai, UAE where she focused on professional development of teachers. Irum is a member of Pakistan Women Entrepreneurs Network for Trade (WE-NET) and feels honored to represent her country on international women empowerment and leadership forums.

An avid educator and a certified counselor, Irum is passionate about seeking every opportunity to offer equitable education and effective learning to children and empower educators across geographies and diversities.
